At Trail View House, we respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land, the Trawlwoolway people of the North East nation, who have cared for and nurtured these lands for thousands of years. We honour their enduring connection to this region and pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.

We also recognise the historical significance of Derby, a place once frequented by the Kunnarra Kuna tribe, long before the arrival of European settlers and the subsequent tin mining boom of the 1870s.

As we welcome guests to this beautiful place, we do so with gratitude, acknowledging the rich cultural heritage that has shaped this land. We are committed to caring for the environment, supporting local communities, and leaving a positive impact on the world around us.
